The beatitudes are a set of 8 pungent and largely paradoxical statements of Jesus that assault EVERY maxim of conventional wisdom and leaves the listener startled and perplexed. But at the same time, the beatitudes are a description of what inhabitants of the blessed kingdom of heaven look like. Join along as we examine these traits in this two-part series.
