Snapshot #3

ENOUGH is a direction and fulfillment. It means I have all I need.

This will be - not might be - the day, the month, the year that trusting God will provide spiritually and physically ALL I need.

This will be the time I use what I already have. It is already in my house, bedroom, or garage. It is already in my car, closet, or cabinet. It is already in my Bible, books, and computer. It is already in my family, my friends, and my community. It is already in the church, the brethren, and the family of God.

There is no need to go out and get something prettier, new, or updated. I have it.

This will be the time I am not tempted to push beyond my capabilities. God’s grace has given me enough (Romans 12.3-5). I have gifts already waiting to be used. I have faith already. I need to apply it.

This will not be the time I get too busy. I will be involved in the Lord’s work. There is enough, and always will be enough, there.

This will be the time I will not blame, excuse, or rationalize away why I have that is enough today. Growing in the Lord will always be enough (Ephesians 2.10). The circumstances and situations will never be ideal. I will do with the “enough” I have as Christ strengthens me (Philippians 4.13).

Live unto all that is ENOUGH. This will be the time I learn contentment with God’s gifts. In Him I will live, move, and have my being to do ENOUGH.
