More About Jesus (14)

Jesus said, “I am the door; by Me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and shall find pasture” (John 10:9).

Jesus describes Himself as the door of security for those who believe in Him. He is also the door for those who hunger and thirst after righteousness (Matthew 5:6). He provides for them a “pasture” to feed upon and be filled.

This door Jesus describes is made of grace, love, and mercy. It provides and “opening” for all to God. It is man’s access to God. Access is not gained solely by our efforts (Ephesians 2:8-10). Christ declares Himself to be “the Way” out of sin. He is THE DOOR, “the one mediator between God and man” (1 Timothy 2:5). Entering this door means life. Come to Jesus while the door is open. When you come inside, you will not be disappointed.
