Jesus' Inconceivable Command

The conclusion to Matthew chapter 5 creates a crescendo within the sermon Jesus' has been teaching... This revolutionary, new way of thinking and acting that Jesus has been describing is summed up in the phrase, "Be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect." What greater display of that can there be but to reflect the perfect love of God towards His enemies. In this lesson we examine Jesus' command which must have been as shocking then as it remains today, "Love your Enemy."
