More About Jesus

Jesus told a man he delivered from being demon-possessed, “Go to thy house unto thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and how he had mercy on thee” (Mark 5:19).

News travels fast. It does not matter whether the news is good or bad. It just travels fast. Although our character may speak a thousand words about our belief, we still need to give people a ready and reasonable answer about our hope (1 Peter 3:15).

Having Jesus change your life is a story worth telling. It is remarkable the testimony a “Jesus changed life” has versus those who live in unbelief.

Years ago, the head of a rescue mission in London accepted the challenge to debate a well-known skeptic, but with one condition: He could bring with him 100 people who would tell how believing in Jesus had changed their lives. He invited his opponent to counter with witnesses to the benefits of unbelief. On the day the debate was to take place, the believer came with his 100, but the skeptic never showed.

When you know Christ, you will want others to know! Are you telling others what Christ has done for you?
