Come To Jesus
Do you think it is humiliating to be told to come to Jesus? Are there things you have allowed to keep you from coming to Jesus? Some people would rather live in misery, go through sorrow, or handle the disgrace of immorality without Jesus.
To know just how real you are, test yourself by the words - “Come to Me”. Do you argue or evade the issue altogether rather than come? Have you not at one time spoken some foolish, cursing, or swearing words rather than say, “Jesus, I come to you!”?
Is the real reason you have not come to Jesus because God has not asked you to do something big? Is that it? All Jesus is asking you to do is “COME!” Is that not big enough?
“Come unto Me” are some powerful and persuasive words. When you hear those words, you will know that something must happen in you before you can come. The Holy Spirit has revealed within the Word what you have to do. It will involve uprooting whatever is preventing you from getting through to Jesus. Until you decide, those untiring, outstretched arms will remain lovingly extended. Come to them soon.
