Some Things Teachers Like In Parents

 

  • Parents who attend Bible classes regularly (Hebrews 10:25). 
  • Parents who help their children attend Bible classes regularly and on time (Ephesians 6:4). 
  • Parents who speak well of the classes, pointing out the good things (Philippians 4:8).
  • Parents who are fair-minded, agreeable, just, and unselfishly helpful to the teacher with classroom problems (Psalm 133:1).
  • Parents who appreciate and express gratitude for the efforts of others to help their children grow spiritually (Colossians 3:17).
  • Parents who are real partners with class teachers in the greatest work in the world (Proverbs 22:6).
  • Parents who set a time to prepare themselves and their children for Bible class by reading and studying their Bible lessons (Ecclesiastes 3:1).
  • Parents who maintain discipline at home so the teacher will have no discipline problems in the classroom (Proverbs 23:13).
  • Parents who teach their children proper attitudes of worship in the classroom and the public worship (John 4:24).
  • Parents who desire as much or more an interest in the children’s spiritual education than they do their child’s secular education (2 Timothy 2:15).
  • Parents whose faith and life is genuinely pursuing righteousness, holiness, and godliness, rather than talking about religion but not living what they believe (1 Timothy 1:5; Titus 2:11,12).
