Having A Oneness Marriage

Have you ever thought about what it takes to have a ONENESS marriage? People believe their marriage will last, but there is a difference in a marriage that "lasts" and a ONENESS marriage. Three components are necessary: (1) Follow the formula (Proverbs 24:3,4), each person needs to know, understand, and wisely follow what God wants them to do in marriage, not what your mate is suppose to do.  what God wants them to do in marriage, not what the other person is suppose to do. (2) Acceptance (Genesis 2:22,23). Have you truly accepted the gift of your mate God gave you - unconditionally. Adam did before Eve ever cooked his favorite meal or brushed her hair. (3) Cleaving (Genesis 2:24). Are you pursuing, going in the direction of your spouse? Cleaving is the practice of clutching and grabbing hold of your mate. It is the lifelong pursuit of a ONENESS marriage. You never get tired of it. You never take it for granted. It is a creative adventure. The more you cleave, the more ONENESS you become.h as you. Both of you are dependent upon God to help you be for Him and for each other what you need to be. Let the word (mirror) show you the flaws. Let the word help you correct your sin. Be honest about yourself. Let Ephesians 4:15,25 and Psalm 32:1-7 be part of your marriage policy. "Half the problems in life come from people being afraid to go straight at things" - William
